Transfer jobs show as complete- not one e-mail moved

I have tried to copy IMAP e-mails for 2 accounts between servers.
Both jobs show as completed- but not a single e-mail has been copied to the new server.

I have submitted multiple issue "tickets" using the web form, but have not received a single response.

Is this service an actual valid service, or have I just tossed $10 down the drain, and fallen prey?


This topic is the ONLY method besides filling out the web form for any kind of communications.
The lack of e-mail addresses or phone numbers now make me feel like I was duped.

Thanks for reaching out, and our apologies for the issues you've faced.

Your migrations were unsuccessful due to issues connecting to your source email server.  Our logs show that repeated connection attempts failed, and the migration gave up.  One of those migrations was stopped, while the other was (misleadingly) labeled as completed.

It looks like your source mail server is back online, so we've just restarted one of your migrations and will be watching it.  If all goes well, we'll do the same with your other migration.

Also, we unfortunately did not receive your tickets.  It may be a transient issue with our ticketing system, although we've been receiving tickets from other users throughout the day.  Feel free to contact us directly (support _a_t_ movemymail.net) if you'd like to get in touch with us.  This is the same email address sent in all correspondences with you.

If you have any questions, please let us know.  We apologize for not communicating these issues to you earlier.

Hi.

Just checked and neither e-mail copy job worked although they show Oct 7 and completed.

While I did have the "from" mail server down for a short while yesterday, it was not during any of these migration sessions.


Can you tell if the e-mails were downloaded to your systems??  I believe this is step 1.
If so- then we just need to debug why the upload to the new system is not working.

We went ahead and created a ticket for this; you should receive an email soon, if you haven't already. 

We monitored the repeat migrations, and saw emails being downloaded and uploaded successfully.  It's very likely that your new folders are not subscribed to, causing them not to show up in your mail client's default view.  Please reach out to us and we'll work with you to make your mail visible.

Everything worked perfectly, and your suggestion that I look for "unsubscribed" folders did the trick!
